Where it begins*


This late afternoon in the park, what a pleasant sight
Ducks and geese take it easy with koi fish delight
Under some shade in a gazebo, nice comfy spot
Cool area to stand under, because it is so hot
The water has some ripples from a fountain on the pond
Within is this easiness and the surround is at calm


No more venturing while this day follows through
Absorbing what is here, for this is what to do
Even the wind seems to have taken a break
Not to ruffle leaves and push clouds that it makes
No, just the peaceful time settling beyond noon
Arrival of nothing to come, taking its time not to soon


The blend of all this, that is within me all around
In a distance children playing but not such a loud sound
Oh yes this is heavenly, placid inside like floating in a dream
The unique thing about this all, is coming from within me it seems
Soon I will have to move on and venture once again
But at least I know of this peace, and know of how it all begins

Clouds of silence*

Clouds of silence*


I sit and wonder, to see from below the skies
Ask myself this, is there a meaning to say why?
Curious I have become to see clouds in a drift
To be of some substance and to having this lift
As they arrive like a train in a station on time
Really no plan to it, seems completely sublime


I captivate myself within this and become of its blend
The movement of a few more show up, like there is no end
I am starting to get deep, as I dive from within
Ah yes to see it, as it shows up again
Light and airy, movement is effortless too
Now releasing more in being empty, this is what I am to do


No more feeling that I have become
The lost of self from one, Now I am none
It is like there is incredible balance not more to be
Getting in tune with my Soul*, the Universe is me
I am at the most calmest I have ever been,
A wondrous feeling to be back here again


So Now I am of no more, nothingness so strong
It has put me back in place, in alignment where I belong
Yes that was all I ever was, what was I ever looking for
Those things that came to me in illusion, they are never no more
I will show up when you feel me, and be back around
But you will not know when, for I come to you without a sound

To grow up like a rock*

To grow up like a rock*


Something was formed as it came one day
Settled in with an outline and then went on its way
A work of energy without effort, as it did see
Nothing to do with chemistry or even biology
No it was a reality of its own and did what it needed to do
After it got done making it, the next part of existence came through


So it sat around wondering, what it was meant for
What could this be, is it to be less or to be more
Patiently, it seemed time was drifting by and had its own need
Again the settling was here, but inside wisdom was its creed
Silently the process was one step at a time, moments did pass
Stronger a will inside itself,  outside it did come but did not last


So in a self realization, this thing knows of its being
Internally it has always known, what it truly was seeing
It had planted itself right where it is, to see crystal clear
To sit where its does and to be grounded as well, living right here
This particular item, that up until Now has not been shown
All it is a is a rock, that was placed by itself and inside only grown

Wake up with your eyes and see
All around in the extreme nothingness, one is free
The obstacles that were there are no more
From this vastness, the open door
For clarity that is within, as Now you are insight
Deep out of the darkness, you Now seen the light

Come out of that shell and hit the ledge
That is right, you have wings off that edge
Conquer in this freedom, no longer of fear
You are in the Awakened Consciousness, that lives with you here

But something that seems, a reality that stays
An area that is there, that is oh so gray
But within this gray area that comes out while concealed
Is my Awakening from this dream, a reality to be revealed

I enter home*

I enter home*


The course of life had its many chores
What was the sense, what this was all for
Chasing and chasing something that did not exist
But belonging to the wheel one could not resist
Moving without stopping in perpetual motion
Emotional waves in and out like the tides on the ocean


Making things happen, hoping it would be thriving
One took a better look, only to be striving
Carrying some baggage, in all to go through
Asking yourself this, to deserve this what did I do
Never even coming closer to the answer at hand
Stuck somewhere in purgatory, a forgotten land


But one day it did come, an idea that did stick
To pull oneself out of the rut, which did the trick
It had nothing to do with anything, but see a right attitude
Something inside me said, "move on with life with much gratitude"
Those days are long gone from being so rotten
I come into a reality of bliss as all before forgotten


So Now this feeling that has made me in this place
Was nothing more than a void, in such a joyous space
It has nothing to do in where I am going
All the long it was with me, for that it was showing
Like walking into a cave with no walls, as I enter
Egads could this be the alignment of Now and its center?

What are you doing in this world?

What are you doing in this world?


What are you doing in this world?
Looking at chaos and peace, to see what unfurls
What do you change that you cannot do?
I do not know where to begin, or what to go through
Calamity in many hearts we see
But there are so many things we cannot let be


For why did we come to be here a short while
To traverse through many things and so many miles
Another reality we always seem to seek
We ask a new ager to give us a peek
But it is no use to have this belief
And to always send out hope in all kinds of relief


Searching a little more to see why we are here
But it seems useless in running around, never to be clear
But one day shall come when that one will awake
And a new reality will be seen and this one will make
Then and only then that happiness will be seen to be so free
To be out of these chains that we look around and Now see


So for Now the intention is to keep moving on
And see the end result soon, as thy will be done
Then maybe we will learn what we are here for
And be right we always are, to seek no more
Oh very young one, I say what will you leave us this time?
Now that I realize even the present is here for a short while

Balance, do you see this?*


Standing in the foreground, apples in a grove
All in perfect alignment, upright in the row
But there is light that is coming, up from the sky
I look down on one row, it comes and meets my eye
I ask myself, could this be balance within
As no reply comes, I say it once again


The deeper I look inside, a void is what I see
It is only a mere reflection of nothing back at me
I ponder a few more times to see the Truth of this all
This question is very simple, my answer a brick wall
So the more I keep my focus on this as it seems
The depths are only open more like it is but a dream


My pursuance is this, that I will not say no longer
The tighter the grip on this, the answer is knotted stronger
I release myself from this pain, as I see it no more
For my conviction to this is simple, alignment is what I am for
Yes the feeling in direction as it is also well Aware
For where I seen my being with this, as my being is nowhere

The flower in the garden*


The day is silent and so am I
Hint of light blue above, a few clouds pass by
Spring is here, warm feeling is good
The passing of the cold, as it knew it could
I walk in the garden and hear the birds sing
Joyous wonder, it does bring


The colours all around so tempting to see
Flowers dancing in the light wind, oh so carefree
A bubbling fountain I hear, near a koi pond
My being is in solitude and I am of calm
I bend down over and smell the fragrance of flowers
This could take me here all day in each passing hour


This walk in this temple garden, with great delight
It was my Awareness that gave me this, indulging invite
The atmosphere is a flow and goes right through my Soul*
Such a place of peace to becoming oneness and of whole
Yes, this is balance with Love for it is nature so
The feel of a flower within me as well, and it is ZEN* that makes me grow

Focus in what is already here*

Focus in what is already here*


From a distance I see the rock that is stable
I come to her presence as I am willing and able
To step foot on her basin floor
As she opens up with delight, her front door
Now I start my hike up her, as I begin to ascend
Knowing that has a massive incline, into all her bends


Reaching more and stopping for a few
Deep within myself, I can see her view
Broken twigs all around and boulders to climb
No ease on this mountain, no path level to find
Enduring each step as this is the way
Moments go by, heights going higher today


Now that it is felt that a summit seems near
Drawing me ever closer to be her focal point here
A few trees that have thrushes in them, inside the hollows
The clouds up above moving westward as they follow
I Now see what a delight my eyes have within
This is what I always seen in my Awareness, again and again

ZEN*, home of flesh and bones alone*

ZEN*, home of flesh and bones alone*


Starting from a place that I do not know
Then it goes from there to watch me grow
It is illusive from my mind's eye sight
Drawing this outline into the light
Many more moments seems to be ahead
But I forget about those moments, and be here instead


But a twist that has come into my life as it is showing
Something has took a drastic turn, no longer is it flowing
Conformity that has become which I seem not know about
Leaves me in the field of perplexity and somewhat of a doubt
OK, I feel that this maybe temporary with a little bit of hope
Then all is turning upside down and I am at the end of my rope


But something is telling me to see deep within
I decide to take a look and maybe start over again
This inner dialogue has got me with this connection
I am beginning to see this with my path's inward direction
I await a few moments as time passes by
I feel this need of urgency here, and to ask no questions why


I believe I have stumbled upon a great feeling inside
So I move into it effortlessly and take it with stride
Ahhh!!!....I see it, it is nothing that is there
I get the gist of it Now and become more well Aware
I am feeling cemented and anchored right here
I am having a locked in presence, as Now becomes clear


I Now see all the suffering from all in mankind's roots
He missing the point of who he is and this is his Truth
Sad that many come here and they all seem to miss it
It is our home to stay and not a place to visit
As once one is one and this is solid to begin
Physiology and Consciousness match up, this place becomes home for this is ZEN*
