Dark murky shadow holds the light*

Still of night has walked on by

Darkness that was in an empty sky

Shadowed by something lurking in the mud

In its encasement, a flower in the bud

Little was the moments going by, day from night

Inching itself more forward, coming closer to the light

As it came to the surface, petals were open one by one

Now it has awakened, the white lotus to show the day has begun
