Maple trees line the bike trail
Birds in flight wings and tails
The feeling of spring has definitely sprung
Smell of fresh grass cut has Now begun
Such a sun shining day here
Summer is next on deck, oh so near

ReplyDeleteDear Dom: Cheerful and Inspiring poem! Spring has rites too! Where you live you are experiencing this? Must be hopeful thinking! I love the fact that Spring has Sprung; the birds return to nest and for some and that for some this is a sign not to give up that remembrance of all things green (not just St. Paddy's day either!)...Yes, not too long a wait! Just around the corner as perennial as those fresh earth revival scents and as hopeful as the green grass' yearly return again!Springing into Summer - I can tell this is the preferred season for most!
