The water is in flames*
I walk on the path of this fine afternoon
Nowhere in particular to be there soon
I see a mother and a little girl with a pink balloon in her hand
Both come to the water pond's edge and there they stand
I look over the rails into the pond as well, I admire
What intrigues me most is the red carp, the water is on fire
